Hello! I'm Chris, a hobbyist photographer based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. You can often find me taking pictures at LGBTQIA+ events and nature areas in Washtenaw County and Cuyahoga County.
I've been fond of photography since I was young. I recall my grandfather always having a camera with him—in that Japanese tradition—documenting daily life and family events. My grandmother would then organize the prints in a book and add captions to share with those around her.
Years later the books inspire me, giving me a glimpse into the past lives of my parents, the folks who surrounded them, and the occasions that shaped them to become the people I know them to be. I hope to have that kind of influence on the people in my life!
